Stripe Payment Gateway - Order Code is Included in the Description field
For payments that are executed as part of the checkout process, we include the “order code” as part of the payment’s description in Stripe. We decided to follow this approach because we don’t have yet in this step of the checkout process the invoice code. For payments that are initiated from our billing service, we continue to include the “invoice code” in the payment description in Stripe.
