Cancellation of Microsoft Perpetual Licenses

Cancellation of a Perpetual License asset is feasible but it is limited to a total of 60 days after the purchase date since a full refund is only available when the cancellation is executed within that period of time. Our platform complies with Microsoft’s policy and from this release, we have introduced the following cancellation workflow:

  1. Your customers and resellers can request to cancel a perpetual license from your Storefront. No automatic execution is supported but you will receive a cancellation request from completing it from your BSS.

  2. When a perpetual subscription is cancelled from BSS, the request is submitted to Microsoft by calling the appropriate API.

  3. If Microsoft response is that the perpetual license cannot be cancelled, our system aborts the cancellation process.

  4. If Microsoft accepts the cancellation, the perpetual license will be cancelled in our system and a full refund will be given to the customer (a credit invoice is generated).

Add-ons to be Included in Storefront’s Subscriptions List

Your customers and resellers can now see which add-ons have been purchased for a subscription directly from the subscriptions list. A “+” option has been added next to each subscription that has add-ons and for displaying the related add-ons. The add-ons are also included in the excel file when you export the list of your subscriptions.

Maintenance of a Single Add-on Record Per Subscription

In this release, we covered a gap we had for product types with the option “Maintain One Active Subscription” enabled. For add-ons of these product types, we now maintain one single add-on record per subscription even if the customer purchases extra add-on licenses by placing a new order. This will result in any volume discounts that are active for the add-on to be applied correctly since there will be a single record with the total of the add-on licenses.

Improvements for Integration Framework Reporting

In 3.28.0 we introduced our new reporting tool for the connectors that are based on our integration framework. We further enhanced our reporting tool by introducing new capabilities:

  1. Date Selection Fields. You can now narrow the results of the report by searching for a specific period.

  2. Export to Excel Facility. You can now export the results to an excel file.

  3. Internal ID Link. This field is now a link to the details of the related BSS record (e.g invoice or account).

  4. Internal ID for invoice or order items. For invoice or order items, this field has as value the ID of the related invoice or order. This facilitates the search for the records of a specific invoice or order since the result set will include its items too.

  5. Integration ID for invoice or order items. For invoice or order items, this field has as value the ID of the related record of the external system. This facilitates the search for the records of a specific invoice or order since the result set will include its items too.

  6. Comments Column for Invoice Items. It displayed invoice items' product Name, quantity and billing cycle.

  7. Comments Column for Order Items. It displayed order items' product Name and quantity.

  8. Exceptions Column. The exception message it is now clickable and a pop-up window is displayed with the full message.

  9. New Filtering options. The columns “Internal ID” and “Integration ID” have now filtering capabilities

  10. Multi-Sorting Capabilities. All columns have now sorting capabilities and you can sort the data set using multiple columns.
