MS Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online Connector

We have updated our Dynamics 365 CE connector to support the online edition too. Customers using the online edition can now follow the instructions explained to https://interworkscloud.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ICPD/pages/431359214 for activating and authenticating the connector in their BSS portal.

Reconciliation Process for Azure Reservations

Since Microsoft changed the “Order ID” field that we were using as a unique identifier of every monthly charge of the reconciliation files, we have introduced two new custom fields that each relate to the “Legacy Azure Reserved Instances” and the “Azure Plan Reserved Instance” Assets accordingly.

  • The custom field Reservation Reference Order ID is now used as a unique identifier for BSS Assets of the “legacy Azure Reserved Instances” Product Type.

  • The Reserved Instance Reference Order ID is now used as a unique identifier for BSS Assets of the “Azure Plan Reserved Instance” Product Type.

Moreover, during the invoice monthly report generation for reconciliation purposes, the “Reservation Reference Order ID” merge field is utilized as a column for both Azure Product Types mentioned above. As a result, when the BSS reconciliation report is exported to an Excel file, it can be compared with the “Reservation Order ID” column, which is found inside Microsoft’s reconciliation Excel file.

For more details, please check the Reconciling Azure Plan Reserved Instance & Azure Reserved Instance Charges with Microsoft page concerning the invoice report for reconciliation.

Storefront’s “Login Options” in the BSS Contact’s View Page

We have introduced a new field called “Login Options” in the Contact’s details view page in BSS, under the Storefront User section. As a result, with the new informative field, your BSS users can now easily identify which Storefront Login Options are activated per contact. This improvement is directly related to the Storefront’s Login Options feature.

For more details, please check the Storefront User's "Login Options" Information page.

Improvement in the Storefront’s Subscription View Page

We have introduced a new “Activation Date” field in the Subscription’s details view page in Storefront. As a result, your Storefront users can now easily identify the date that their subscription was activated.
