Microsoft “New Commerce Experience” Integration (Technical Preview)

We are proud to announce the latest integration between our platform and the Microsoft New Commerce Experience (NCE).
The Microsoft New Commerce Experience provides partners in the CSP program with new sales capabilities and new tools to manage subscriptions more easily while promoting long-term customer commitment with multiple term options. Some of the new NCE offers are Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Windows 365. These offer types are being added to Microsoft’s New Commerce platform, with new functionalities, capabilities, and policies that differ from the legacy CSP provisioning platform.

With the current release, you are able to enable the NCE integration by selecting a country for which you want to bring NCE monthly and annual products into the interworks.cloud platform and also update your Microsoft Cloud Services Catalog with the latest available NCE products and add-ons. Additionally, you are able to automatically update the prices of the latest available NCE products and add-ons via the dedicated pricing tool to start building your commercial plans.

Currently, the integration with our platform is under Technical Preview mode, meaning that no orders can be placed currently, but once it is fully launched, it will enable faster and simpler transactions.

What's next

With our second release and onwards, you will be able to sell and provision the NCE products and add-ons automatically!

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for MSPs - New Service Manager

Our Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud integration allows Acronis Managed Service Providers(MSPs) to efficiently sell, provision, manage and automatically bill their channel partners and customers through a single platform. Our implementation is based on the consumption-based model. The Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud product is essentially a single pay-per-use (PPU) container product and the properties of that container product provide MSPs with a variety of choices and variations based on the different storage locations or different combinations of storage into the same location.

The customers or resellers of the Acronis MSPs will activate Acronis services directly from the Acronis portal and will monitor their consumption from MSP's Storefront. They will be billed at the beginning of each month for the consumption of the previous month.

Cancellation Automation Based on Amount

We introduced in this release a new cancellation policy for defining up to which amount cancellation requests for subscriptions or add-ons, submitted by your customers, can be executed automatically. More specifically, you can now define a specific amount per product type up to which the cancellation will be executed automatically, but your approval will be required above this amount.
This option is available when you select one of the automatic execution options on the product type details page. If you are selling to multiple currencies, the amount must be defined per currency.

Improvement on the Storefront Single Logout Flow

With this release, the following erroneous scenario is fixed.

During a specific Storefront Single Logout scenario where the following conditions were met, a never-ending loop appeared which did not allow the Storefront users to log out.
Conditions:

  • The anonymous access for the Storefront was disabled.

  • The local login option for the Storefront was disabled.

  • Only one external provider was available for logging into the Storefront.

Solution:

As part of the logout flow, users are redirected to the Storefront login screen to choose the external identity provider to log in again.

For more information on how the Storefront Single Logout Flow functions, please check the page.

Improvement on the Translation Management Tool

With this improvement, the field called String ID that contained the IDs of the translations is deprecated since it is not unique and consequently, it is replaced with the new field called String Tag Name. This new field is indeed unique and remedies translation issues that the former String ID had. Please note that any exported Excel file containing the localizations has also undergone the same change where the column String ID has been replaced by the column String Tag Name.
