When you set a tax code on a product type then all products that belong to this product type will be taxed with this tax code.

Assigning an Avalara Tax Exempt Category to a Customer

There is a new field in Enable Ordering section when you create/edit an account. Tax Calculation with Avalara Integration is available for customers in US or Canada.

There are some cases in which a request for tax calculation to Avalara may result in an error, and the taxes are not calculated.

In such cases, the billing process is not interrupted, instead, a ribbon notifies the user that Avalara taxes have not been calculated for this invoice, and the user must select Calculate Taxes.
