Payment Methods
An integral part of interworks.cloud Platform billing engine, the Payment Methods module offers a specialized facility that can be leveraged to support multiple payment scenarios. The user is able to define both manual and automated payment operations and can further set the period within which a system-generated invoice must be paid.
Payment and Taxation Gateways
- Stripe
- Activate Stripe Gateway — interworks.cloud offers a straightforward facility to configure the Stripe https://stripe.com/payment gateway. After acquiring your account to Stripe, you can activate it in your BSS for accepting credit card payments from your customers.
- Using Stripe for Credit Card Payment via Checkout — Once Stripe is configured at your BSS, a new step will be displayed during checkout, where the credit card details are filled in. The payment is automatically routed and upon successful completion the subscription is created. This page contains information as to the checking out process with Stripe integration.
- Paying Recurring Subscriptions using Stripe Gateway — For customers that have entered their credit card details, the interworks.cloud platform charges automatically any recurring subscriptions.
- Support for Stripe SEPA Direct Debit Payments — If you are registered in European Unit and your Stripe merchant account supports SEPA direct debit payments, you can activate it for having your customers and reseller paying by using their bank account.

- Using Authorize .Net for Credit Card Payment via Checkout — Once Authorize.Net is configured at your Cloud BSS, a new step will be displayed during checkout, where the credit card details are filled in. - Paying Recurring Subscriptions using Authorize .Net Gateway — When the end user first registers a credit card during checkout, Authorize .Net exchanges a token with interworks.cloud platform and uses that at every subsequent transaction. No data are stored at interworks.cloud platform apart from last 4 digits of the credit card. However, there are times when the automatic charge can fail (e.g. when the credit card has zero balance). For those cases, interworks.cloud can support manual handling of payments.
- Paypal Express
- Activating Paypal Express — interworks.cloud platform offers a straightforward facility to configure the PayPal payment gateway. After registering to PayPal you can proceed to setting up a test environment for checking the process and learning how to work with it. Then, just as easily, you can proceed with switching to "Live Mode" and getting ready to accept payments from your customers.
- Using PayPal Express for Credit Card Payment via Checkout — Once PayPal Express payment gateway is configured at your BSS, a new step will be displayed during checkout, where you have to log in into PayPal interface and confirm the payment. In case of successful payment the subscription is created. This page contains information about the Checkout process with PayPal integration.
- Paying Recurring Subscriptions using PayPal Express Gateway — interworks.cloud platform only supports the redirection method for performing automated payments through PayPal. That means that recurring payments can only be initiated by the user. This page explains the available processes to facilitate that. In order to perform the recurring payments, a customer has two options: One is to use the Storefront facilities for paying the charges and the other is to pay through the respective system invoice, using the appropriate link.

Importing Payments
You can import payments from excel spreadsheets directly into Cloud BSS using our payments importer. The Payments Importer is accessible through “Payments” menu in “Billing” module.
Retry Credit Card Payments
Notification Plans is a means to schedule the dispatch of email notifications for Payments according to a specific workflow. When it comes to managing the Credit Card Payments workflow for an end-customer subscription, you can set up a notification plan, that will send notifications on Credit Card events.
Payments Transactions Log
In order to check automated payment operations, IwCP contains the 'Transaction Log' facility where an administrator can seek details about concluded payments. The log will reference all events and provide further information that can be used to investigate and rectify potential issues in case of errors.
