Paying Recurring Subscriptions using PayPal Express Gateway


interworks.cloud platform only supports the redirection method for performing automated payments through PayPal. That means that recurring payments can only be initiated by the user. This page explains the available processes to facilitate that. In order to perform the recurring payments, a customer has two options: One is to use the Storefront facilities for paying the charges and the other is to pay through the respective system invoice, using the appropriate link.

How a Customer can Pay an Outstanding Invoice


For paying an outstanding invoice via Storefront follow the instructions below:

  1. Login at the Storefront and navigate at the 'Billing' section. Click on the invoice you want to pay.


  2. Click on the 'Pay Invoice' button


  3. By clicking "PAY INVOICE" button the next pop-up will appear in order to click the button "NEW CREDIT CARD" which will redirect you to the PayPal's official Log In page. 



  4. Fill in your PayPal credentials in order to login to PayPal and proceed with the payment of the invoice.


  5. After successfully logging In, the analysis of the costs is displayed along with the available payment options that you have setup during your PayPal account creation. Upon selecting the payment option and clicking the Continue button, the payment of your invoice is being processed. 


  6. Upon successful payment, you are being redirected to the pop-up window of the Storefront automatically and a message of successful payment will appear. If there are any problems during the payment process, an error message will appear notifying you about the cause. 


  7. After you select to close the pop-up window, the Billing page will be updated and the Status of the invoice will write "Paid".  



How a Customer can Pay the Overdue Invoices


 For paying overdue invoices follow the steps below:

  1. Login at the Storefront and navigate at the "Billing" section. Click the "Pay Overdue" button.


  2. By clicking "PAY INVOICE" button the next pop-up will appear in order to click the button "NEW CREDIT CARD" which will redirect you to the PayPal's official Log In page.



  3. Fill in your PayPal credentials in order to login to PayPal and proceed with the payment of the sum of overdue invoices.


  4. After successfully logging In, the analysis of the costs is displayed along with the available payment options that you have setup during your PayPal account creation. Upon selecting the payment option and clicking the Continue button, the payment of the sum of overdue invoices is being processed.


  5. Upon successful payment, you are being redirected to the pop-up window of the Storefront automatically and a message of successful payment will appear. If there are any problems during the payment process, an error message will appear notifying you about the cause. 


  6. After you select to close the pop-up window, the Billing page will be updated and the section "overdue invoices" will be clear from overdue invoices.



Paying through Invoice PDF


Apart from using the Storefront for making a payment, the customer can also use the link in invoice PDF file, Provided that they have received the invoice via email.



By clicking "Pay with Credit Card", option the next pop-up will appear in order to fill in your credential, login to PayPal site and proceed with the payment.
