Upgrade of Microsoft NCE Subscriptions

You can now partially or fully upgrade your NCE subscriptions using the generic upgrade flow our platform supports. The current version allows you to upgrade to a higher plan while keeping the same billing terms.

  • The upgrade paths between the NCE products are created automatically from the “Get Services Definition” process.

  • You can upgrade a subscription with immediate effect and keep the same billing terms (i.e. the same billing cycle and the payment terms). The upgraded subscription will keep the renewal date of the initial subscription and the same cancellation window.

  • Whether seat reassignment will happen automatically depends on the customer's eligibility.

  • It is not possible to increase the quantity when upgrading. You may perform a full upgrade and increase the quantity afterward as a workaround.

  • The promotion of the original product will be lost. The promotion will be applied after the upgrade if the target product has a promotion.

To enable the upgrade functionality, you should run the “Get Services Definition” process for updating your system with the upgrade paths between the NCE plans.

  • Ability to change the billing terms during the upgrade

  • Upgrade to an existing subscription

  • Schedule an upgrade action

Import NCE Subscriptions for New Tenants

Our Microsoft Import Customers tool has been enhanced to support also import of the NCE subscriptions. You can now import for new Microsoft tenants, which are not yet on our platform, both their legacy and NCE subscriptions.

In our subsequent releases, we will also introduce the capability to import subscriptions for a tenant already existing in your BSS. This will significantly facilitate scenarios where you create a subscription in the Microsoft partner center for one of your customers and you need to import it into our system.

Order Item “Billing Plan” Field Available In Reports & Notifications

A new field, called Billing Plan, is introduced with this release for the NCE Order Items. This field is for finding when an order item has a monthly billing plan and can be used in Reports, Notifications, Advanced Search, Email Templates, and Print-out Templates.

Corrections for our Billing Frequency Mechanism

This release includes the following improvements:

  • The due date of the installments is now calculated based on the customer’s billing day and invoicing option (on order day or billing day)

    • For customers with Partial Charges Invoicing = On Order day, the installments are invoiced based on the purchase date.

    • For customers with Partial Charges Invoicing = On Billing day, the installments are invoiced on the customer’s billing day.

  • The “Edit/Remove Price Protection” link is now disabled for all NCE subscriptions.

  • The installments are correctly calculated for purchasing extra licenses for a subscription with volume or tiered pricing.

The dLocal Payment Gateway supports Bank Transfers

This release supports your customers to pay with bank transfers using the dLocal payment gateway. By activating this option, your customer can choose to pay using a credit card or by transferring money from their bank account.

Translation Improvements in Storefront

Multiple improvements have been accomplished for the localization and translation capabilities of the Storefront affecting elements such as fields, buttons, and titles. The following pages and modules have been corrected:

  • Storefront Dashboards for resellers and direct customers

  • Reserved Instances details page

  • Cost Management section in the Azure plan subscription details page

  • Storefront settings page for the Reseller Standard Edition

  • Workspace section

  • My Account page

Set the same Unit as the Default for both Product’s Sell and Purchase Price

We simplified how you can define the default unit for your products and now you have a single default unit applied to all product units.

New Terms and Conditions for the Adobe Resellers

Adobe has announced new terms for their resellers. Adobe resellers must accept them before offering Adobe software products to the end users.
We have uploaded the new terms in the section where your reseller can register as Adobe resellers.

Google Material Icons are Stored Locally

We have improved the performance of the Storefront portal, especially for anonymous users, by storing the Google material icons locally.
