Adobe Stock Credit Packs

This page contains information on Adobe Stock Credit Packs; what they are, how to create the product type & how to order them.

Introduction to Adobe Stock Credit Packs

Credit Packs are a flexible way to purchase assets on Adobe Stock. Purchasing an Adobe Stock credit pack nets you credits which can be redeemed to license content such as premium & editorial images, videos, and other asset types. Credit packs can be applied to any Adobe Stock content, including standard assets, and they expire one year from the purchase date.

Customers on the platform can offer Adobe Stock credit packs from either the BSS or Storefront.

The 12 available credit packs are listed in the following table:

Product Creation

To create the new product type Adobe Stock Credit Packs, which has the type Asset, the BSS user has to run Get Services Definition. Unlike the existing process for product creation in Adobe (via the import tool), the new Stock Credit Pack products will be created automatically. The pricing for these products will be retrieved by the external pricing mechanism.

The figure below shows all the available Adobe Stock Credit Pack products:

The new product type will support the License unit group, which means that these products will create only asset-type entities. The quantity limit is set to Unlimited since customers can buy as many packs as they require.

The credit packs have two additional properties; Adobe Stock Credit Pack SKU and Language, which are both compulsory fields.

How to Order Stock Credit Packs

To order an Adobe Stock Credit Pack in the Storefront, the user adds a Stock Credit Pack product to the cart and executes the order. The figure below shows the credit pack in the product view, with the Add to Basket option:

The following figure shows the cart view:

The entity is provisioned to Adobe. The related asset is then created in the BSS and Storefront, and the customer can start using it. The final price of each product will be set upon ordering by the external pricing mechanism, which draws the prices from the Adobe pricing Excel file uploaded to the Adobe instance.

Please note that when making an order, the basket may not contain both stock and non-stock credit items. Either of these products must be removed from the basket and purchased separately.

The figure below shows a credit pack order in the BSS:

Managing Credit Packs

Since Adobe Stock Credit Packs are Assets, they will appear under the corresponding category in the BSS. The figure below shows a Stock Credit Pack for Teams, as it appears in the BSS Asset view:

Cancellation Policy

Stock Credit Packs are not refundable and do not contribute to volume discounts or 3YC discounts.

Adobe will process a refund inside the 14-day cancellation window, however, only if none of the credits were used/redeemed. In this case, BSS users can cancel the asset from the following shortcut:

If any credits have already been redeemed, a message will be displayed and the cancellation process will be terminated.

Migration Process

For the migration process, the interworks.cloud Platform will fully support the transfer to the VIP MP channel for any membership that contains an Adobe Stock Credit Pack. The existing migration process will not change and once the reseller enters an eligible membership ID (which contains a Stock Credit Pack), the system will migrate it to the VIP MP and create all the related platform entities (account, subscriptions & assets).

The Purchase Date field will show the date of the migration and not the actual purchase date of this asset in the previous channel. The Expiration Date field, however, will show the actual expiration.
