Installing the Google Workspace Service Manager

The Google Workspace module is available from the installer.

Activating the Integration with Google Workspace

For the automatic provisioning of Google Workspace applications, we have implemented a service manager that handles the provisioning of the services to the end customers. Each distributor that is using platform for offering Google Workspace services, must generate his own authentication credentials (client ID, client secret, token) in order to activate the automatic provisioning of Google Workspace services via Platform.

Defining Google Workspace Products

In platform you can define your Google Workspace Products by creating products of type Google Workspace or Google Workspace Flexible.

Managing Google Workspace Users and Licenses

Your resellers can view and manage their customers' Google Workspace license from your Marketplace by accessing My workspace.

Ordering a Google Workspace Product

The ordering process for a Google Workspace product is similar to the process of any other cloud application. The customer must select one of the Google Workspace plans you have published in your Storefront, to add extra licenses if he wishes and to complete his order by checking out his basket.

Getting a Test Reseller Account for Google Workspace Cloud Services

A "Test", or "Sandbox" is used in order to simulate the provisioning workflows without incurring any costs to the vendor. Typically, Google does not offer a "sandbox environments" for Google Workspace Services, however, you can create a "Test Reseller Account" which requires the manual conversion of a "normal/standard" account to a "test" account, by Google.

Google Workspace Customers' Importer Tool

For migrating your existing customers and their subscriptions in your BSS, we have implemented an import tool that is used for importing your Google Workspace customers in BSS. This is particularly handy during the initialization of the system.
