To manually and fully cancel a subscription in BSS, you must locate and open the subscription under BSS > Billing > Subscriptions.
In the subscription's view page, under the Shortcuts menu, you can locate the option "Cancel".
In the pop-up window, you can add a comment on the reason you are canceling the subscription, and three options are available for the cancellation time to be executed.
Immediate: The cancellation will be completed immediately, and all provisioning actions will be sent to the third party.
Specific Date: If you select this option, you can set any past date within the current billing cycle or the current date. Please make sure that no future date is chosen. Otherwise, the following message will appear for you to correct the chosen Cancellation Date.
End of Billing Period (Date): The cancellation will be completed once the subscription reaches its end date.
If you select to cancel the subscription on "Specific Date", the status of the subscription will be changed to "Canceled", while if you select to cancel the subscription on "End of Billing Period", the status of the subscription will be changed to "Pending For Cancel". The subscription will keep the status "Pending for Cancel" until the time of the cancellation is completed, and it will be billed normally.
By clicking on the "Send Request" button, the cancellation will be completed. All provisioning actions will be executed at the time you have selected.
After the cancellation process is completed, the subscription status will be changed to "Canceled".
If the Account Billing Options are set to enable billing on order day, a new invoice will be automatically generated immediately after the action is complete.
Alternatively, the invoice will remain in the status “Pending” until the billing date. This allows the system to accurately calculate any adjustments for charges or refunds based on the cancellation date.
You cannot reactivate a subscription that is in status "Canceled".
