Activating the Integration with Dropbox

For activating the Dropbox service manager, you must have a reseller agreement with Dropbox so as to have access to the Dropbox Partner Portal for acquiring your Reseller ID, Application Key and Application Secret. These three authentication credentials are required for the activation of the service manager in BSS.

Retrieve your Authentication Credentials from Dropbox

For retrieving your authentication credentials, first you must register a reseller account to the Dropbox Partner Portal in order to acquire your Reseller ID

  1. Login to Dropbox Partner Portal (https://portal.dropboxpartners.com/) with your credentials and on your home-screen the "Reseller Id" will be visible. Copy it and save it.

  2. There are two means with which the rest authentication credentials (Application Key and the Application Secret) can be acquired, depending on your "reseller level" with Dropbox.
    1. You can either become a full Dropbox Partner and in this case you can request your own Application Key and Application Secret from Dropbox.
    2. You can remain a normal Dropbox reseller and request from Dropbox to assign you to a partner and consequently acquire your partner's Application Key and Application Secret.
