General Settings

For initializing tenant reseller's BSS we copy most of the settings defined in root organization.

Users & Permissions

• An administrator user with the details defined in tenant reseller form has been created
• A "common" group has been created marked also as the default group for reseller's BSS
• A "common all" permission rule has been created that gives full access to all modules for all users of common group

System Options

• Administration > System Options > Organization Settings > Languages: The language defined in tenant creation form will be the default language for reseller's BSS. This language is set also as Storefront's language.
• Administration > System Options > Countries: All countries and their states as defined in root organization are copied in reseller's BSS too.
• Administration > System Options > Taxes: We copy taxes from root organization to reseller organization, only if the tenant reseller is from the same country (reseller's country is the one that has been defined in related account billing address in root organization). In this case, we copy the following:
  • All taxes that include at least one rule that applies to all product types
  • All taxes that include at least one rule for a product type that is included in the selected pricelist . 
• Administration > System Options > Currencies: By default, reseller organization does not support multi currency and only the currency of the pricelist defined in tenant creation form is activated in his BSS.
• Administration > System Options > Payment Gateways. No payment gateways are copied in reseller BSS
• Administration > System Options > Payment Methods. We copy from root organization only the methods that are not related with a payment gateway.
• Administration > System Options > Automatic Invoices Options: We copy the options defined in root organization by setting, where necessary, the unique user we have created in reseller BSS.
• Administration > System Options > Use of API options: We create one rule for all modules,  with responsible user the administrator user and as permission rule the "common all" rule.
• Administration > System Options > API Credentials. For the Basic reseller, this option is locked since it's not supported in Basic edition access to platform's API. For the premium reseller, no keys have been generated but the reseller can generate them and use the API.
• Custom Fields. No custom fields are copied from root organization to reseller BSS.
• Customization of Default Fields. The values that have been defined for the default fields (e.g account types, order statuses) in root organization are copied to reseller BSS.

Storefront Settings

• Self Registration Settings: They are copied from root organization
• Anonymous access: Is deactivated by default
• Suggestion to customers option: It is copied from root organization
• Most Popular Products option: It is copied from root organization
• Home page Offers / Featured / New products: These sections are empty in reseller BSS
• Rebranding options: All options are copied from root organization
• Banners: All banners are copied from root organization
• Landing pages: They are not copied from root organization

Notifications & Print-outs

• The layout and the content of the offer / order / invoice print-outs are copied from root organization to reseller BSS
• The layout and the content of all system notifications are copied from root organization to reseller BSS but any hard coded emails  that have been defined in TO / CC / BCC fields in root organization are not copied in reseller BBS.
• The custom notifications that may exist in root organization are not copied to reseller BSS.
