Tenant Reseller - Preparation Check list

Before creating a tenant reseller, you must run the following checklist

Create an Account in your BSS for your Tenant Reseller

For creating a tenant reseller, you must have created first your reseller as an Account in you BSS. This account must be enabled for ordering. 

Decide which Price List you will use for activating the Reseller

 The pricelist that you'll define during the creation of the tenant reseller is very important because:

  • The products including in the pricelist are those that your reseller can resell and they will be copied in his BSS.
  • The cost prices for your reseller are the retail prices you have defined in the pricelist

If you are not going to use an existing price list, you must create first a new one before continuing with the creation of the reseller. Also, your pricelist must be in the currency you want to bill your reseller. If your reseller wants to bill his customer in a different currency, he will be able to setup his currency in his BSS. 

 Syncing Reseller with underlying Provisioning Platform

Depending on the type of the services that you have added in reseller's pricelist, you may need to sync the reseller with the provisioning system before activating him as a tenant reseller.

  • For services provisioned via interworks.cloud OSS: In this case, the BSS account that corresponds to your reseller must be also synced as reseller in Cloud OSS. Check /wiki/spaces/KASFD/pages/4661190 fore more details.
  • For Acronis Cloud Backup service: In this case, the BSS account that corresponds to your reseller must be also synced as reseller in Acronis portal. Check /wiki/spaces/KASFD/pages/4661479 fore more details.
  • For Microsoft Office 365 & Azure services: For Microsoft services  no synchronization is necessary in the root organization for the correspondent BSS account.
  • For Panda service: No synchronization is necessary in the root organization for the correspondent BSS account.
