End-Date Alignment for NCE Coterminosity

What’s this:

End-Date Alignment is the feature that will enable NCE Coterminosity and is designed to enable CSP partners to align a new purchased seat-based subscription end date with an existing subscription end date.

Who is Coterminosity for:

  1. BSS Users

    1. Indirect Providers selling to Resellers

    2. Direct CSPs selling to Customers

  2. Marketplace Users (Buyers)

    1. Resellers in the Basic and Standard Edition

    2. Direct end-Customers

Why it matters

End Date Alignment: The NCE Coterminosity rules

  • For commercial seat-based subs only

  • Subscriptions can be co-termed for the same customer and not across customers (e.g. on reseller level)

  • Trial subscriptions cannot be co-termed.

  • Coterminosity cannot co-exist with schedule order functionality

  • Charges to partners will be prorated if the original term is reduced via a coterminous setting.

  • The first term after setting up the End-Date Alignment can be shorter than the full term to align the renew date with an existing subscription subsequent to that subscription will run for the full term only. The charges will be prorated for the first short term.

  • Existing web direct purchased subscriptions or subscriptions from other partners cannot be selected to Coterm with

  • Annual and Triennial term subscriptions can’t be coterminated with a monthly term subscription.

  • The Subscriptions made available for the customers to select and co-term with:

    • If you are a Direct CSP: The subscriptions that your customer can select and co-term a new subscription with, are the ones of their Tenant Account in MPC.

    • If you are an Indirect Provider selling through Resellers: The customer subscriptions that a Reseller can select and coterm a new subscription with, are the ones that are related to that Resellers' MPNID in MPC.
