Products & Add-ons Actions
Creation of a new plan for one of the services he can resell.

The reseller is not allowed to create a new product for a service that he resellers. This means that in the "new product" form, the product types he inherited from the root organization are not available.

The reasoning is that the reseller cannot offer to his customers a new plan that is not offered by the distributor. For example, an Acronis backup plan with different storage quota from the plan the distributor has defined.

Creation of add-ons for the services he resells.

The reseller can extend the services he resells by adding his own add-ons. He can for example add an add-on for offering support services for every Office 365 Business license he resells.

For accomplishing this, the reseller must first add his own properties to the inherited product type because he is not allowed to create an add-on based on one of the inherited properties (for example to create a new storage add-on for the Acronis backup service).
