The platform allows you to adjust the quantity within an existing subscription, whether to increase or decrease it. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you make these changes.
Quantity Change Criteria
To proceed with a quantity change, the following must be true:
The subscription is active.
The subscription is not pending for cancellation.
The subscription is not price-protected, as price-protected subscriptions cannot have their unit or billing options altered during the current billing cycle.
You have the necessary user permissions to make changes to the subscription.
Subscription Quantity Increase
To increase the quantity to a subscription, follow the steps below:
From the Shortcuts menu on the left, navigate to BIlling > Subscriptions.
Select the subscription you wish to update.
In the Subscription Details view, locate the Quantity under the Product info section.
Click on Change, right next to the current quantity amount.
Enter the newtotal quantity for the subscription.
In the pop-up window, click Send Request and wait for the platform to process your change.
Depending on the subscription, the Type of Quantity Change request may be locked, or you may have the option to choose when to execute the update (e.g., immediately or scheduled for a later date).
Once complete, the Quantity value will change and a new invoice will be generated instantly. To view it, click Invoices in the Shortcuts menu on the left.
Subscription Quantity Decrease
To decrease the quantity to a subscription, follow the steps below:
From the Shortcuts menu on the left, navigate to BIlling > Subscriptions.
Select the subscription you wish to update.
In the Subscription Details view, locate the Quantity under the Product info section.
Click on Change, right next to the current quantity amount.
Enter the new total quantity for the subscription.
In the pop-up window, click Send Request and wait for the platform to process your change.
