Setting Up the Attestation Text Inside the “Terms of Use“

You need to enable the Terms of Use on the respective BSS products and add the following text to them, so that the Storefront user is not able to perform the checkout without accepting the following attestation.
I understand that each person using Windows 365 Business with Windows Hybrid Benefit also needs to have a valid copy of Windows 10/11 Pro installed on their primary work device.

The following simple steps will guide you to add the required attestation text inside the “Terms of Use” for either the product group that all those offers belong to or for each of the aforementioned offers if they don’t belong to a product group.

  1. Login to Cloud BSS and select Billing > Products.

  2. Locate in BSS the product group (containing the above-mentioned products) or one of the above-mentioned products and click on it.

  3. Click on "Terms of Use" from the “Shortcuts” menu on the left.

  4. Check the "Enable the Terms of Use" option and upload the terms of use either From local system or From Cloud BSS file system or by Using the Editor. Then add the attestation message inside the “Terms of Use” text:
I understand that each person using Windows 365 Business with Windows Hybrid Benefit also needs to have a valid copy of Windows 10/11 Pro installed on their primary work device.“.

  5. Lastly, you must click on the Save button.

By saving the changes, after you have successfully added the above attestation text either inside the “Terms of Use” for each one of the abovementioned offers or inside the “Terms of Use” of the product group, when purchasing these offers, your customers can attest to that text located inside the “Terms of Use” pop-up review window and accept the Terms of Use for this product before proceeding to checkout in your Storefront.

Consequently, when you accept the Terms of Use of a Windows 365 Business service, at the same time you attest to the Windows 10/11 Pro prerequisite, the checkout process in Storefront can continue normally.
