Microsoft Academic Plans - Enhancements of Vetting Process
Microsoft introduced Partner Center API enhancements for adding clarity and visibility into the customer vetting process for academic licenses. From this release, our platform is compliant with these changes and supports Microsoft’s new vetting process. For more details, please check Vetting Process for Education Plans
New Set of Countries where Organization INN is Required by Microsoft
Microsoft partners that do business with new or existing customers in the countries Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Poland, South Africa, India, Brazil, Iraq, Myanmar, South Sudan, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates will have to submit a customer's legal identifier (also known as the customer's organization INN) and phone number when they next update or create a subscription for that customer. This is the second set of countries where Microsoft introduces this rule, and we expanded our Tax ID mechanism to cover also customers from these countries.
