The import process start when you press the "Run Import" button. The process has two phases: the data validation phase where all data are checked for invalid values and the data execution phase where the actual import takes place. During this process the Import results page is displayed for monitoring the progress of the import.

Data Validation

In this phase the system parses every row in your excel file and checks the validity of the data using the rules described in 2nd Step - Mapping of Products Fields. For each excel row the validation outcome is displayed in the "data validation" section.

For the invalid products there will be a red line with the validation error. These products will not be imported in your BSS.  You can check Products Importer Error Messages for more details about the error messages.
