Edition Resellers Can Configure Their SMTP Email Address Settings

With this release, the default SMTP Email address settings can be configured from the General Settings page of the Standard Reseller Storefront so that the Email notifications can be dispatched from this Email address instead of the distributor's Email address. The current functionality is an intermediate stage for this feature. For the time being, if these settings are not configured, the notifications are sent from the distributor's email address. In a future release, additional authorization options will be added.

In a future release (mid of January), more capabilities will be given to the standard resellers for managing their notifications:

• Rebranding capabilities for the notification dispatched to their customers. They will be able to define a generic template that will be applied to all notifications as well as to alter the email’s body.

• Two more authorization types will be available for defining their email account: Office 365 and Google OAuth 2.0 protocols.

When these capabilities are available, the distributor’s rebranded Email notifications will no longer be used since the resellers will be able to manage their notifications.
