Ordering an Acronis Fixed Price with Overage Product

In this page we will analyze mostly the differences during the ordering process of an Acronis product between having or not having the Fixed price with Overage billing plan. In general, the ordering process is similar to processes that are pay-per-use (PPU), also known as consumption-based. The reseller or customer can select the ACPC PPU product you have published in your Storefront or any other variation of that product and proceed with the order.

Ordering Rules

A Fixed Price with Overage Acronis product can be ordered via both the BSS and the Storefront platforms. The ordering rules that our platforms apply are the same as the ones found on the Ordering an Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Product | Ordering Rules page.
Once an order is placed, and for example, the Acronis PPU product has a Fixed Price of 100 dollars, this means that inside the order, an order item will display this fixed price.

Ordering from Storefront

When resellers or direct customers log in to your Storefront, they can purchase an Acronis product by adding it to the basket. The checkout process is the exact same as previously analyzed on this Ordering an Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Product from Storefront page. After the completion of the checkout process, the Acronis product is provisioned to the reseller's end customer. Depending on the fixed price that the ordered Acronis product has, the direct customer or the reseller will be billed with a debit invoice for that fixed price you have set either at the beginning of the monthly billing period.

Ordering from BSS

An account manager can purchase an Acronis product on behalf of the target customer (reseller's end customer or direct customer) by placing an order directly from the BSS. The ordering process is the exact same as previously analyzed on this Ordering an Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Product from BSS page. After the completion of the checkout process, the Acronis product is provisioned to the reseller's end customer. Depending on the fixed price that the ordered Acronis product has, the direct customer or the reseller will be billed with a debit invoice for that fixed price you have set either at the beginning of the monthly billing period.
