Viewing the Logs of your Products Imports

Every time you run the products importer tool, the importer logs are kept and are accessible from the import menu in the products list page.

The "view Logs" option loads a list of all the imports you have run.


For each import action we keep the following information:

  • Submission Date. The date and time the import was executed.

  • Source Type. It is always "Import"

  • Source Name. The excel file that was used during the import. It can be downloaded.

  • Submitted by. The user who ran the import.

  • Log file. A link to the log file. When pressed, the import logs are displayed in a pop-up form. If the import is still in progress, it will display the progress as described in import process page.


  • Status. The status of the import. 

    • Completed successfully. The import has been completed and all the products included in the excel file have been imported/updated successfully.

    • Completed with errors. The import has been completed but some lines failed to be imported/updated.

    • In Progress. The import hasn't been completed yet.
