In the Storefront, your customers have two options available for canceling a subscription and/or an add-on.
This page will explain how your customers can cancel subscriptions and add-ons when you allow automatic cancellation for the subscription. |
In the Storefront, a customer can cancel a subscription either via the “…” action button from the Subscriptions List view page or via the Subscription’s view page from the “I Want To…” button.
By clicking on any of the aforementioned buttons, the cancellation pop-up appears.
Here, your customer has the option to cancel a number of subscription licenses (partial cancellation) or all of them (complete cancellation). If your customer selects the “Immediate” option, for either full or partial cancellation of the subscription’s licenses, our system will execute the cancellation immediately, and your customer will receive the following confirmation pop-up.
Your customer can cancel add-on licenses either via the “…” action button from the Subscriptions List view page or via the Subscription’s view page from the “I Want To…” button.

If your customer selects the “Immediate” option, for either full or partial cancellation of the licenses of the selected add-ons, our system will execute the cancellation immediately, and your customer will receive the following confirmation pop-up.
Your customers can schedule the cancellation of a number or all of their subscription licenses for the end of the current billing period by selecting the “End of Billing Period” option in the cancellation pop-up.
When the “End of Billing Period” option is selected, and the Submit button is clicked, a confirmation pop-up window appears, and its text states that the cancellation will be executed at the end of the billing period.

Information about scheduled subscription cancellations is available in the subscriptions list. Next to subscription status, an informational bubble appears that indicates whether the subscription is pending for cancellation.
Information about scheduled add-on cancellations is available on the subscription details page. Next to the quantity field, an informational bubble appears that indicates whether the add-on is pending for cancellation on a specific date.
Your customers can revoke the following cancellations:
Cancellation of add-on licenses
Full cancellation of an add-on (i.e. all add-on licenses)
Cancellation of subscription licenses
Your customers cannot revoke the full cancellation of a subscription. This action sets the subscription to status “pending for cancel” and it cannot be revoked by the customer.
For the add-ons cancellations, the revoke action is part of the “I Want To…“ button. Your customers can find the action named “Revoke Cancellation,” which essentially revokes scheduled cancellations such as the “End of Billing Period. “
Your customers can revoke only the cancellations they submitted. Your customers cannot revoke cancellations that you have scheduled from the BSS.
