This page offers information on how to Publish a Product in Storefront. Learn how to configure some Basic Storefront Settings of a Product.

To configure the Storefront Settings of a particular Product of your Storefront, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to Cloud BSS and select Billing > Products.

  2. Select a Product from the list of Products available in your Storefront.

  3. Click on "Storefront Settings" from the Shortcuts menu on the left.

In the Storefront Settings page of a Product, you can configure the details of a product's presentation in your Storefront. You are presented with the "Publish to Storefront" option at the top of the page. You need to enable that option for a product to be visible and available on your Storefront.

Publish to Storefront Options

Once you enable "Publish to Storefront", a box is presented to you with some basic options, concerning the display of your product in Storefront. For example you can:

Publish to Storefront: This setting defines if the product will be displayed at the Storefront or not.

  • Display as: Here you can select if the product will be displayed as part of the main product catalog, or if it is going to appear only as a proposed item for a different product

  • Categorize as: The user can select if the product can be displayed at the respective Home Page sections

  • Available via Price List: If checked, then the product will be visible at the Storefront, only if it is included at the price list of the customer that logs in.

Display different set of products per customer
Using the "Available via Price List" option you can define per customer which services are available for ordering.

  • A customer with a price list attached, can see only the products that belong in his price list and are published in Storefront

  • A customer with no price list attached, can view only the products that are published in Storefront and are not marked to be available only via Price list

  • An anonymous user can view only the products that are published in Storefront and are not marked to be available only via Price list

  • Available for Ordering: Defines the product as available for purchasing

  • "Tell me More" Option: Allows only the 'Tell me More' option for a product, without making it available for purchasing

  • Keywords: You can enter keywords that define the product, and are used in the Search facility of the Storefront to locate it.

  • No Index: This option blocks search engines from indexing the marketplace, thus preventing it from appearing in search results.

         

Product Logo and Description

Below the "Publish to Storefront" box, there is a section under the name of the product, where you can:

  • Upload the logo of this product.

  • Add a Short Description for this product, that will appear in Storefront under the name of the product, in order to give your customers a better understanding of the application.

  • Add a Long Description for this product, that will appear in Storefront when the product is selected.
