Release of Microsoft Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) Service Manager
ESD is a software licenses distribution model by Microsoft, where distributors are able to accept purchase orders from resellers and deliver software perpetual licenses to end-customers. The ESD integration with interworks.cloud platform will allow the instant delivery of all ESD products straight to the end-customer by email. The products are ready to use immediately after digital delivery. This new integration facilitates the ordering and fulfillment processes for customers. It helps you get rid off costs associated with Physical Media handling needs and increase their long-term profitability against old-fashioned box software.

The interworks.cloud platform integration with ESD features:
- ESD Products availability through Marketplace
- Full management capabilities for ESD products
- Automatic ordering and fulfillment for all ESD products
- Automatic delivery to customer the license key and the software download link
- Easy ESD invoice generation and price list management
- Access to all generated licenses keys from both BSS and Storefront - use of the new Assets module
- Automation of return process if the license key hasn't been redeemed by the customer
- Ability to check the license status (activated, redeemed or returned) from both BSS and Storefront.
The ESD service manager is not generally available yet but it can be activated for your organization by contacting our sales or customer success department. The following week we'll publish also in our knowledge base a guide for activating and managing the ESD products.
Asset Management Module

This release includes the first version of our new Assets module. Currently the asset module is available only for holding information for the ESD products, but in the near future it will be released as an individual module.
With the Asset Management we are developing in our platform you will be able to:
- Create perpetual or license based products that require a license key for activation
- Automate business flows such license return process or resend of activation link
- Keep track of the licenses your customers have purchased
- Allow your customers or resellers to view and manage their licenses keys from your Storefront
- Use our reporting engine for getting consolidated data for your licenses business
Getting the Prices of a Product in All Units via Reporting
You can create a report that will return all the prices of a product for all active units. For accomplishing this, you should create a products report that will include also the Default Prices data. This report returns a line per product - unit combination but you can filter your results requesting only the prices for a specific unit (e.g. monthly, annually etc.)

The subscription of a required product is not upgraded to paid when the main trial subscription is upgraded to paid.
Integration with First Atlantic Commerce Payment Gateway
From this release, intetworks.cloud platform supports credit card payments using the First Atlantic Payment Gateway. First Atlantic is active on Caribbean and Latin America areas.
- Once First Atlantic has been configured in your BSS, a new step will be displayed during checkout where the customer will be redirected to a page hosted by First Atlantic for entering his credit card details.
- All invoices will be charged automatically using the token we have collected from First Atlantic for the credit card the customer entered.

New options for the Automatic Dispatch of the Invoices
You have now more options for the invoices that are sent automatically to your customers.
- Define a subject for the invoice email that can include also invoice information like the invoice number
- CC and BCC fields. You can define more recipients for the email apart the "Bill to Contact" you have defined for your customer. You can just enter an email or use a merge field where you keep the recipients for each account.
- File name. You can define the name of the pdf file using merge fields for creating a unique name.
