BSS User Email Change Verification

BSS users can change the email address associated with their BSS account. To ensure that the user has provided a valid and accessible email address, the feature includes a 3 step verification process.

To change the account e-mail, in your BSS go to Setup Administration Personal Setup Profile

On the Profile page, to change the email address, you cannot select Change.

Then, follow the three steps in the dialog box:

Step 1 - Confirm Password

Verify your identity by by entering your password used to log in to the BSS.

 

Step 2 - Change E-mail

Specify the new email address for the account.

Select Next, an email is sent to the email address specified, which contains the verification code.

 

Step 3 - Verification

In the third and final step, the user is asked to enter the six-digit verification code they received in their email.

The new email address that the user has specified appears in the dialog. If the verification email was not received or if the verification code has expired, select Resend to receive a new verification code.

Select Verify to confirm the email address change.

At this point, to specify a different email, select Previous to return to the previous step.
