Managing Scheduled Orders in BSS
On this page, you can find the analysis of how you can view scheduled orders in the BSS platform, how you can edit them, as well as manually cancel them.
Viewing Scheduled Orders in the BSS
In BSS, users can witness an informative ribbon under the Order details view page, stating that this order is scheduled for execution at a specific date. The format of the date <XX/XX/YYYY> is based on the organization’s date and time predefined setup.
Also, a scheduled order in BSS has the status “Scheduled”, and in the history section, you can find details about the execution date and who submitted the order.
In the current version, the BSS user cannot cancel a scheduled order but can only delete it. The cancellation option for the BSS users will be available shortly.
Editing Scheduled Orders in the BSS
In BSS, account managers can edit multiple fields of a Scheduled Order, on either the root or the tenant reseller organization, as long as they have write permissions for that order.
Once the account managers locate the scheduled order in BSS and click the Edit button to edit that order, they can edit the following types of fields:
Order Fields & Custom Fields | Discount Fields |
---|---|
| |
After the editing is completed, the account managers must save the changes by clicking the Save button on the top menu. |

Manual Cancellation of Scheduled Orders via BSS
Since BSS users can view the Scheduled orders (with “scheduled” status) originating from Storefront, they can also cancel them manually from BSS if such a need arises. More specifically, by locating and opening the Order detailed view page of a Scheduled Order, BSS users can click on the Edit button from the main menu and change the status to Canceled. By saving the changed status, the Scheduled Order gets canceled. Currently, this is the only method of canceling a scheduled order via BSS.
