Registering the Impossible Cloud Service Manager

 

This page explains the process for activating the Impossible Cloud Service Manager in your BSS portal.

Before activation, you must ensure the Application ID and Key are sent to Impossible Cloud.

To register the Impossible Cloud application in your BSS you must do the following:

  1. Navigate to BSS > Setup > System Options > Applications Setup

  2. Select "Register New Application"



  3. The new application registration page will be displayed and you must select the following:

    • "Application name" and "Description": Impossible Cloud
      Make sure to enable following checkboxes:

    • "Enable Accounts Management"

    • "Enable Subscriptions Management"

    • "Enable Addons Management"

    • "Reseller Support Enabled"

  4. Save the new application.

    The save action generates the "Application Id" and "API key" values that are specific for your installation. These keys are available in the registration page.

    Leave blank the Authentication section.


  5. After you have saved the application you can configure the Pre Check section with the following two URLs:

     

    • Subscription Create URL

    • Subscription Update URL

  6. Afterwards, you have to define the Setup Configuration, Account Management, Subscriptions Management, and Add-ons Management endpoints, as follows:

Non-Functional Endpoints

You may witness four endpoint URL fields at the end of the Subscriptions Management section,
named "Subscription Upgrade/Downgrade URL", Subscription Upgrade to Paid URL",
"Subscription Upgrade to Existing URL", and "Subscription Upgrade Get Existing
Subscriptions URL". These fields are by default empty and deactivated, so you should
never change them.

  1. Save the edit page.

The Impossible Cloud application service manager is now registered in your BSS portal and you can activate it by following the instructions described in Activating the Integration with Impossible Cloud page.

 

 

Updating the Registration Settings


You can always update the registration settings of the Impossible Cloud service manager from the "Edit Integration" button inside the "Cloud Applications" section.
