Q: Can I create empty Assets from BSS?
A: No. For the moment Assets can only be created while purchasing products that also require Assets management functionality.
Q: Will there be multiple types of Assets?
A: Yes, there will be multiple types of Assets. Different types of Assets also define the corresponding Asset Actions. For the moment the types of Assets are ''Reservations'' (for Reserved Instances) & ''Licenses'' (for ESDs).
Q: Which are the available Asset actions?
A: There are 3 types of Asset actions. Subscription actions, General info actions and actions based on sync status.
Q: Do I have to do anything manually upon a Product purchase that creates an Asset?
A: No. After you setup your Products correctly, Assets will be automatically generated on every successful purchase.
Q: Are Assets able to be returned?
A: Yes. Some Assets such as the ESD Products, are returnable.
Q: The activation link and/or licenses keys are lost. What now?
A: From the Asset view page and only if the Asset type is of ''License'', in the Asset Shortcut menu you will be able to either re-send the activation link, license, and download link easily.
