In interworks.cloud platform, BitTitan Assets must be defined based on the two product types to which each one belongs. Let us proceed with the analysis of both product types and their properties before reaching to the analysis of the assets, their creation, and configuration. |
After completing the activation of the BitTitan Service Manager by running the Get Services Definition on the BitTitan Application Settings page, two product types are created in the BSS, namely, the "BitTitan Mailbox License" and the "BitTitan User Migration Bundle". You can locate both product type by navigating to: BSS > Setup > Billing > Products > Product Types.
Both product types have the same properties which are the following:
The BitTitan asset products that must be created by the Distributor must be at least two, namely, the "BitTitan Mailbox License" and the "BitTitan User Migration Bundle". Each product should correspond to the respective product type. Also, both of these Assets can be purchased in more than one (1) quantity in the form of licenses. However, BitTitan doesn't offer trials of those products and neither should you(the Distributor) since BitTitan trial assets will not be provisioned by our systems.
Number of Available BitTitan Products |
Since the products of BitTitan in our BSS platform are handled as assets, two or more BitTitan products need to be manually created, via the Products List in BSS.
These One-Off BitTitan assets can be created by examining the guide (for One-Off products) under the Creating Products page.
Since the pricing policy of BitTitan assets is based on consultation between the distributor and BitTitan, the pricing of each asset must always follow this consultation.
As a result, after the distributor has arranged the pricing policy with BitTitan, he can edit the pricing of both products in BSS accordingly. This can be achieved by clicking on the "Edit Recurring Charges" button and manually assigning the prices to each one of the BitTitan products.
You can edit the "Expire(days)" and the "Validity(days)" product characteristics by clicking on the "Edit..." button that is located at the product's overview page.
Rule for Editing Product Characteristics |
After you have finished editing the product characteristics, remember to Save the changes.
The next optional step is the creation of one or more BitTitan Product Groups. The product group is used both as a presentation layer for the BitTitan products at the Storefront, as well as the place where your customers can order those products.
You can see more information for creating a Product Group here: Managing Product Groups.
After the creation of the BitTitan products, what you(the distributor) need to do for making sure that the products are available to your customers, is to publish them in your Storefront by following the instructions described in Publish a Product in Storefront page.
The products can be published in your Storefront either as part of a product group or separately, each one with its own marketing material.
The Welcome Email Notification is automatically created from the Bittitan integration as a systemic notification. The distributor can rebrand it by navigating to BSS Setup >Administration > Notifications > Customer Notification Details > Assets and clicking on the system notification that writes "Welcome BitTitan Integration customer". That welcome email greets the user for whom the order was placed, while at the same time it provides him with the BitTitan Token(coupon code) which contains the purchased license(s). The coupon code can be redeemed and the licenses can then be utilized after the new customer has accessed their BitTitan account either via signing in or by registering a new account; both of which can be accomplished by utilizing the link inside the welcoming notification email.
The email content looks similar to the following screenshot.
Please make sure that the notification includes at least the Product's description and the Coupon Code (referred to as Token in the text) inside the email body.
