We are excited to announce that our Office 365 - Subscriptions Validation and Reconciliation Tool now fully supports Microsoft Software Subscriptions. BSS users can use this tool to view details from the Microsoft Partner Center regarding each Microsoft Software Subscription. Therefore, you can now use this tool for validating and reconciling Microsoft Software Subscriptions with their Microsoft Partner Center equivalents.

(blue star) Value: The newly supported Microsoft Software Subscriptions add significant value by enhancing subscription validation and reconciliation with the respective Microsoft Partner Center records.

(blue star) How it Works: The tool validates BSS Microsoft Software subscriptions from the selected Microsoft Service Manager Instance against the related Microsoft Partner Center subscription and reports its findings on a user-friendly interface. If discrepancies are found, users can proceed with corrective actions.

(blue star) With the availability of Microsoft Software Subscriptions, the tool now has a new column, Microsoft Order ID, which is utilized only for displaying the Order ID values of Software Subscriptions.

We are excited to announce a new addition to our Power BI Reconciliation Tool: the Missing Subscriptions page. This page is specifically designed for Microsoft services. It allows you to view all Microsoft subscriptions that are missing from our platform, and any related charges for the selected reconciliation period that our platform has not billed.

(blue star) Value: The Missing Subscriptions page in our Power BI Reconciliation Tool offers customers enhanced accuracy by identifying missing Microsoft subscriptions from our platform as well as their related charges that have not been billed by our platform, ensuring a streamlined and efficient billing process. It simplifies subscription management by capturing absent subscriptions, saving time, and allowing for better decision-making with comprehensive and up-to-date information. This feature ultimately improves your financial outcomes.

(blue star) How it Works: This new page displays all absent Microsoft subscriptions from our platform that, for this reason, have not been billed by our platform for the selected reconciliation period (from the Reconciliation Page), including subscriptions canceled on our platform but still active with Microsoft, those added directly through the Microsoft Partner Center, and duplicate subscriptions. The tool automates the identification and reconciliation process, helping you ensure that all missing subscriptions and their respective charges are accurately tracked and managed, thus leading to a more efficient billing process for your Microsoft services.

We would like to inform you about an important restriction regarding the enhancement of the integrity and reliability of your subscriptions from this release onwards. If your subscriptions (containing services, add-ons, or both) currently have a "Failed" Provisioning Sync Status, you will be unable to make any quantity changes to them on both the BSS and Storefront portals.

(blue star) Value: This measure has been taken to safeguard your subscriptions from future unwanted provisioning errors or subscription misalignments and discrepancies between our platform and the external service provider platforms, as well as to prevent any unwanted costs if these subscriptions are re-synchronized. We believe this improvement will ensure a more seamless and reliable experience for our users.
(blue star) Tip: Please ensure that your subscriptions are correctly synchronized to avoid any disruptions or restrictions on quantity adjustments.

The following issue was addressed, with fixes applied where necessary:

  1. Performance Reinstated in Storefront Subscription List: Resellers experienced delays when accessing their subscription list in Storefront. With the addition of a new filter and further query optimizations, we have managed to reinstate the loading times back to normal.

  2. Adobe Migration Tool & Reseller Change Tool Error - Issue Resolved: We resolved an issue causing the Adobe Migration Tool and the Adobe Change Reseller Tool within the Storefront to fail to open with an error message. The error was caused by an incorrect alias during the front-end build. With this resolution, both tools now open correctly, allowing users to proceed with their tasks without interruption.
