We're thrilled to introduce a new upgrade feature for the New Commerce Experience (NCE) Subscriptions, called “Upgrade to an Existing Subscription“. This subscription upgrade feature, allows customers to upgrade their existing NCE subscriptions (source) to another eligible existing NCE subscription (destination), either fully or partially. Moreover, with this new feature introduction, the upgrade process has become much more user-friendly since Storefront users can now pick the subscription they wish to upgrade from a list of eligible subscriptions. This enhancement enables a seamless upgrade process through the Storefront platform since users can now execute upgrades that could never have been performed in the past. Ultimately, this enhancement offers more convenience to Storefront users who want to manage their existing NCE subscriptions and licenses.

Eligibility Criteria:
The destination NCE subscription must be an active, non-trial subscription on the upgrade path of the source NCE subscription, have the same or longer term duration, and an end date later than the source subscription. Also, the destination subscription must exist in our platform, under the same account as the source subscription.

With this release, we are introducing two new endpoint for retrieving one or all assets via the Standard Reseller API.

• GET /api/assets → This endpoint retrieves all the assets for the API user.

• GET/api/assets/{assetId} → This endpoint retrieves a specific asset based on the given ID.

In this release, the “GET /api/invoices/{invoiceid}/items” Invoice API V.3 endpoint has now three new parameters, that appear when the option Analysis “=TRUE“. These parameter are:

• Protected Cost Price: Retrieves the cost-protected price of the related subscription of the invoice items (whenever applicable).

• Protected Sell Price: Retrieves the cost-protected price of the related subscription of the invoice items (whenever applicable).

• Original Unit Price (also known as Subscription Unit Price): Retrieves the original unit price of the subscription.

When the value of these parameter is present and not null, the values are returned with two decimal places, rounded.

The following issues were addressed, with fixes applied where necessary:

1. Incorrect Service Plans in Tenant Organizations - Issue Resolved: We have resolved an issue where certain products in Tenant organizations had incorrect service plans, preventing order processing. The problem stemmed from mismatched attribute values during the ‘Create Tenant Organization’ and ‘Update Tenant Reseller’ processes. Matching is now based on the Code and ensures both values are systemic, allowing orders to proceed smoothly.

2. Invoice Filtering for Microsoft Billing - Issue Resolved:  We have resolved an issue where the “Get a collection of invoices” API endpoint command returned multiple invoice types and currencies, causing confusion. Now, the system filters the invoices to keep only the “OneTime” invoices, ensuring all relevant invoices, including those with different currencies, are downloaded. This fix ensures accurate and comprehensive invoice retrieval for Azure Plan items.

3. Upgrade Subscription Options in Storefront Not Visible for All RTL Languages - Issue Resolved: We have resolved an issue where resellers encountered errors when viewing upgrade paths of eligible products in the Storefront after switching the user language from Hebrew to English. The problem was due to a missing settings parameter for right-to-left (RTL) languages. Now, the upgrade options are displayed correctly regardless of the selected language.

4. Daily Payment Failures via CyberSource payment Gateway - Issue Resolved: We have identified and fixed an issue causing daily payment failures. The problem was traced to a missing mandatory variable in the configuration file of the billing service, which affected the CyberSource payment gateway. This fix ensures smooth transaction processing without interruptions.

5. Bug During the Autorenewal of Adobe One-Off Products in BSS Portal - Issue Almost Resolved: We have resolved an issue in the BSS portal where orders containing Adobe one-off products were incorrectly remaining in “In Progress” status, causing database log overflow. Now, these subscriptions will correctly transition to “Failed” status if the autorenewal call fails. This phase will require from our support team to receive a support ticket to correct it manually so that the status of the autorenewal looks synchronized on the platform. In the upcoming releases, this bug will be fully resolved, to ensure proper synchronization on the platform, while provisioning and billing continue as expected.
