Date Format
Adobe uses the UTC date offset regardless of the country of each organization. The .csv file downloaded by distributors monthly should be changed to the supported type (.xlsx or .xls) to be uploaded to the Adobe instance.
Please refer to the page https://interworkscloud.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ICPD/pages/830768041/Adobe+VIP+MP+Volume+Discount#Revising-the-Pricing-Excel-File for instructions on how to change the format of the related columns to Date (MDY or DMY) using the text to columns function.

Please note that modifying the Excel columns First Order Date & Last Order Date to display the correct type and format is the responsibility of the BSS user. |
How the 3YC Pricing File is Used
If a customer accepts their 3YC offer within the date range specified in the 3YC pricing file (between the First Order Date and the Last Order Date), the service manager will retrieve the corresponding amounts and send them back to BSS. Otherwise, the amounts will be retrieved from the default pricing file (not 3YC).
Please note the following two cases:
If an account qualifies for the 3YC pricing file, but only for licenses, a transaction order retrieves prices from the 3YC pricing as well. If the related SKUs are not available in the 3YC pricing file, the non-3YC amounts will be retrieved by the external pricing mechanism.
If an account has accepted a new or second commitment request, the start date of the existing commitment will not change, and the prices will be retrieved from the 3YC pricing file.
Note |
---|
If the platform user has not uploaded the 3YC pricing file on the Adobe instance, retrieving the price for a 3YC account that qualifies for the 3YC pricing file will result in the following error message: |
Migration Process
The price retrieval flow described in the section above has also been applied to the migration process. The validations applied to the 3YC Pricing File will also be applied to any entities imported through the VIP MP tool in the Storefront.
Note |
---|
If the migration process fails during the last step of the VIP MP tool (upon subscription creation) with the message ServiceError, Internal Server Error, it is possible that the 3YC pricing file has not been uploaded. |
