BSS users can upgrade a Dropbox trial to a paid subscription. The upgrade can occur once the trial subscription has completed its trial period and it has changed its status from Active to either Expired or Inactive, inside the first seven (7) days of the suspension window. Once the upgrade process gets initiated, the trial subscription gets converted to a paid Active subscription with a new billing cycle, where the Start Date will be the date of the upgrade.

The price list mechanism has undergone increased performance, transparency, and stability improvements. This means that every time a price list is utilized, the mechanism will be much faster than before (from 250ms down to 25ms). The most important price list mechanism improvement is the reporting of changes in the form of dated events appearing under the History tab (next to the Notifications & Updates tab). More specifically, the BSS user can now view the exact price list changes, such as who has created or deleted a price list; who changed the price list’s effective date from the existing one to the new one, and even who changed the existing price(exact amount) to a new price(exact amount). This kind of historical reporting of the Price Lists is explicit since it displays the previous value(s) as well as the new value(s) in the same event, logged under the History section. Therefore, this improvement allows for more transparency and control over changes that affect any Price Lists within your BSS platform. Lastly, we have also included some basic validations in regard to the Name field and the effective date fields (From-To), during the editing of a price list.
You can identify if your BSS utilizes the improved price list mechanism by checking the granularity of price list Historic events that are logged under the History section of your BSS platform.

⚠️ This patch, containing the aforementioned price list improvements, affects all the (EU & US) online infrastructures (managed by interworks).

BSS users can now edit the Pricing Info of an NCE subscription that does not have installments for the current billing cycle, even though it utilizes an external system to receive its pricing automatically from Microsoft. This means that an annual NCE subscription, for example, with monthly installments can only have its Pricing Info edited for the next billing cycle, whereas an annual NCE subscription without monthly installments can have its Pricing Info edited for the current billing cycle. The aforementioned pricing change is therefore, applied for the current billing cycle, and the price of the subscription, is the saved price from the beginning of the current billing cycle which was automatically retrieved from the external pricing system.

The Multi-Geo capabilities add-on SKU is available to CSP partners in the New Commerce Experience since June 1, 2023, and is available for purchase, auto-provision and management through the interworks.cloud commerce platform for customers who are using Microsoft 365, Office 365, Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint subscriptions.

From the past release, 3.28.93 and onwards, we have informed you that the subscription add-ons will gradually begin to follow the Status of the Subscription. This means that, for example, :

1. If a subscription becomes inactive, so will its add-on(s). → Release 3.28.93

2. If a subscription becomes suspended, so will its add-on(s). → This Release 3.28.95

3. If a subscription becomes pending for cancellation, its add-on(s) will become canceled. → This Release 3.28.95

⚠️ Please note that these automatic changes to the statuses of add-ons have been provided to you gradually from the past release, 3.28.93, for the “inactive” add-on status, up until this release for the “suspended” and “cancelled” add-on statuses.

For this release:

• The Subscriptions that become suspended, automatically change the status of their add-ons (be that prepaid and pay per use) to suspended. Once this automatic change occurs for the add-ons, the same changes are reflected on the external system (be that the Microsoft Partner Center or the Adobe Portal). This functionality and rules apply to Country Tenants and Simple Tenants (via backordering) aswell.

• The Subscriptions that become pending for cancellation, automatically change the status of their add-ons (be that prepaid and pay per use) to canceled. Once this automatic change occurs for the add-ons, the same changes are reflected on the external system (be that the Microsoft Partner Center or the Adobe Portal). This functionality and rules do not apply to Country Tenants and Simple Tenants (via backordering).

💡 Once the subscription becomes reactivated, in the case of inactive or suspended statuses, so will its add-ons. Canceled subscriptions and add-ons cannot be reactivated.
