Azure Reserved Instances are charged only once or monthly on purchase date. The pricing information we are collecting from Microsoft from the prices importer process is the cost price (i.e what Microsoft charges you as a CSP). For billing your resellers and your customers, you will need to define the margin you want for your RIs by adding in your price lists the "Microsoft Azure Reserved Instances" product. The system will automatically apply the margin you defined in customer’s pricelist every time he purchases a RI. |

Your Tenant Resellers can offer Azure Reservation only in the currency you bill them When you will add the generic Reserved Instance product in a tenant reseller's pricelist, the update tenant process will copy this product in tenant BSS and your reseller will be able to offer Azure Reservations to his customers. But your reseller will be able to offer it only in the currency you bill him. For your tenant resellers, the Import Reserved Instances Product Prices tool is not available and they cannot activate extra currencies. they can invoice their customer in their local currency using the transaction currency feature, but the base currency for a customer that wants to purchase an Azure Reservation must be the currency you bill the reseller. The option your tenant resellers to offer the Azure Reservation in more currencies will be supported in our of our next editions. |
